Snugglers Den
Snugglers Den is a single storey beautifully presented two bedroom cottage, snuggled tightly into the hill side and located at the end of a long dirt track in a peaceful location, in the National Trust protected Cot Valley. The cottage is stylishly and comfortably decorated to very high standards. Crisp white cotton linen is used as standard and beautiful quilts or throws adorn the beds and the sofa. Snugglers comprises two double bedded bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and separate family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower over. The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer in one and fridge with small freezer compartment. In the lounge there is a huge comfy sofa with fur throw. The lounge opens onto a beautiful garden room, which is used for dinning and also has another comfortable sofa from which guests can enjoy views of the secluded garden and stunning valley beyond. Outside there is a large table on the patio area to seat 6 people and BBQ included. There are also other outside chairs and loungers and a washing line. The property features Bang & Olufsen television and stereo system. From January there will also be an electic woodburning stove in the lounge.
Snugglers in located directly on the South West Coast path making it an ideal base for those keen on walking and the valley is an excellent spot for birdwatchers with many reports of rare and garden birds.
The beautiful cove of Porth Nanven is a two minute walk and here Geologists will delight in the unusual egg shaped boulders that the beach is famous for – please do not remove the boulders however as the area is protected. A raised beach and other fossils and minerals can also be found here. The town of St Just which has all the amenities you could need, including, butchers, co-op, post office and 5 pubs are located within 2 miles.
Sennen Beach with its pure white sand and dynamic surf is a Blue Flag beach and is only 4 miles away and many historic mining attractions can be found in the very nearby area.
All linen and electricity is included in the rates though we do ask you to bring your own beach towels, dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £30 each and there is space to park 2 cars.
